Underwood University is authorized by Unites States Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to issue Form I-20 to international applicants. Form I-20 will enable you to obtain an F-1 student visa, allowing you to attend university in the US. Please note that Underwood University does NOT issue actual visas – these are issued by the US federal government.
Navigating the visa process can be challenging. Underwood staff can help you with collecting the documents you need in processing your application. There are many rules that international students must follow, and Underwood staff can help you understand these, too.
International students should note that there are several fees and rules specifically applicable to them. These may be found in the Catalog and Student Handbook, both available for download on the UU website. Please read these carefully and make sure you understand them, particularly policies regarding Academic Discipline and Misconduct. An international student whose Grade Point Average drops below acceptable levels are subject to being dismissed from Underwood University, which automatically invalidates the F-1 visa, and may result in the student having to leave the US.
